Program Highlights
City: With less than 35,000 residents, Biberach is one of Germany's liveliest small towns. Biberach hosts an annual German film festival, including short films, documentaries, and independent films making their debut. The town also offers two museums, a historic marksman festival, and an annual music night on the central marketplace.
University: The Biberach University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1964 as an architecture school but has since expanded to include 17 fields of study in science and engineering. Focusing on praxis and projects, the university immerses students in the field through partnerships with local businesses and small class sizes.
Academics: Earn Major, Minor, and General Education credit.
Tuition: Same tuition cost as home CSU campus.

Biberach University of Applied Sciences is a top-ranked institution for architecture in Germany. As a technical university, courses and topics are drawn from practical experience. CSU IP's programs in Germany are administered by full-time local CSU staff.
The program begins with an intensive six-week Preparatory Language Program (PLP) in Horb, a small town near Tübingen. The PLP is a German language and culture course focusing on grammar, composition, and conversation, as well as an introduction to German culture. Students then move to Biberach to continue their studies in architecture. Students take one German language course each semester in addition to their architecture courses.
