Quick Facts

Pardubice 1

The Czech Republic has emerged as a major cultural hub in recent years. Along with promoting diversity and understanding, studying at Pardubice University offers an inexpensive opportunity for students to study in another culture with a different disciplinary approach to education. Living in the Czech Republic will allow HSU students to have a European experience in a reasonably inexpensive country. There are many courses taught in English for HSU students to choose from.

The University campus is situated in the northern outskirts of the city and is within walking distance of the city center. Prague is only one hour away by train.

Students coming from more than 50 countries appreciate: international and lively student community – good transport accessibility – study comfort – reasonable living costs in the city of 100,000 inhabitants in the East Bohemian Region.  Pleasant surroundings and many sports and cultural life opportunities, in combination with quality and demanding study programs, are comparable to those of leading European universities.

Pardubice 2The University uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). This system enables European students to transfer their credits to their own universities more easily. The credits are based on a total of 60 credit points for a full academic year. Per semester a maximum of 30 credit points can be accumulated

While Pardubice University does not provide an orientation program they do have a ‘Buddy Program’ in place to support incoming students. This program is coordinated by Czech students.
